Acupuncture is usually scheduled once a week for a
minimum of 5-6 weeks. Some conditions may respond
immediately; other conditions may require 4 or more
treatments before the benefit is observed. The
frequency of acupuncture treatment after the initial 5
to 6 weeks depends on the patient and the condition
being treated.
Patients on herbal formulas should schedule a
follow-up examination approximately once a month.
This enables us to not only evaluate the effectiveness
of the formula, but to make necessary adjustments as
patterns change.
Many patients will be on a combination of herbs and
acupuncture, or other therapies.
Many of the therapies practiced at Wellness Path are based on
Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.
